Persuasive Writing: Arguet Against Chocolates

I think children should not be allowed to eat chocolates because they are full of sugar, too sweet and bad for their teeth. If they eat too much they can make them feel sick and rot their teeth.
So I think children should only have chocolate as a treat on their birthday. 

Religious Education: Meditation

In Room 2 I am learning how to do meditation. I can do meditation when I sit and stay still, close my eyes, breathe gently and place my hands on my lap.

Meditation helps me to listen and stay focused.

Playing Golf

We were learning to play golf at school. 
First we hopped like a kangaroo. Next we crawled like a bear. Then we learned to hit the golf ball with the golf club. I missed my first hit. I tried again but I missed it. Finally I did it. I hit it hard and it went far away. 
We all had a fantastic time.

Road Safety Certificate

This is my School Road Safety Certificate. It was given to me by Constable Cyrus for passing my road safety drill.

Road safety

Constable Cyrus came to our school and talked to our class, Room 2 about being safe on the road. He said, Stop, Look, Listen and Decide before you cross the road. On Tuesday he took us to  to his car. He showed us how to buckle our seat belt. Then he took me and Ezekiel for a ride in the police car. 
I felt happy because Constable Cyrus let me ride in his police car. It was an awesome feeling.

Trip To Kelly Tarlton

I went to Kelly Tarlton with my family. 

I saw a big shark with sharp teeth. I saw penquins swimming in the ice water. I saw a small sting ray with a long tail. I saw a green star fish and it looked like a star in the sky.

I had a good time.
